The Diani Beach, Kenya, Touch Rugby Tournament will be taking place on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Five kilometres of wonderful white sand, amazing clear blue waters with a coral reef running parallel six hundred meters offshore.

An idyllic setting for a tournament like this, which we hope will become an annual event. 

I would be grateful if you would pass this site on to any of your members or friends, young and old whom may be interested.  The emphasis will be on having an entertaining weekend with some great Touch Rugby while catching up with many old friends and making lots of new ones! 

The event is a perfect opportunity for a holiday with the family or partner. Perhaps fit in a Game Safari in one of our many world renowned game parks or private game ranches. Deep sea fishing, diving, kite/wind surfing, snorkelling and a challenging 18 hole golf course are all available on the beach. If you prefer to just relax the beach is the perfect place to laze around.

'Special rate' accommodation is available within 5 minutes walk of the venue (Forty Thieves Beach Bar, see Lonely Planet).

Forty Thieves Beach Bar and Restaurant will remain open as long as there are customers drinking! There will be food served all day untill 10 pm and toilets and showers are available. Two TV’s in the bar keep one up to date with other international sporting events plus there are 2 Pool tables and a darts board.

A water sports center run by H₂O Extreme is also based at Forty Thieves (www.h2o-extreme.com). H₂O Extreme offers water sports equipment for hire and also has instructors for those who wish to learn. Right next door on the beach is a diving center. Forty Thieves has music all day and resident DJ's all night!! A beer or 30ml spirit shot (UK shots are 25ml) at Forty Thieves costs approximatly 1 pound sterling.

Forty Thieves also has an Cyber Café for keeping in touch with friends back home.

Diani Beach is situated on the south coast of Kenya, East Africa, three quarters of an hour from Mombasa – it is without doubt one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – huge expanses of fine white sand with a reef off shore providing complete protection from the rigors of the warm, blue Indian Ocean. 

It is a four mile stretch of magnificent palm lined beach, with a dusting of private homes and hotels but a relatively undeveloped area still offering the quaint charm that only East Africa can.
